Lib Dems the main challengers in Croydon South

8.05.00pm GMT Thu 21st Jan 2010

Liberal Democrats have already overtaken Labour in the Croydon South constituency. That's according to the results of an ICM poll and the latest projections of voting intentions published in September*.

This leaves the Lib Dems as the main challengers to the discredited Tory MP, Richard Ottaway, at the coming general election.

None of the Lib Dems' nine London MPs has ever claimed for a second home, so it's clear anyone who is disappointed with Mr Ottaway's expenses claims should vote Lib Dem.
