Local Lib Dems, who have been campaigning for more policing in Coulsdon and Old Coulsdon for many years, are concerned that we may now be getting less policing.

Our popular local bobbies - PC Simon Watson and PC Mick Roberts - are being pulled out of the area for other duties. The Lib Dems believe that neither bobby can now guarantee to be in the area on a full-time basis.

"This situation cannot be allowed to continue, residents deserve better," said local Lib Dem Cllr Ian Atkins.

"Our local bobbies do an excellent job, but police bosses do not see Coulsdon and Old Coulsdon as a priority. Coulsdon and Old Coulsdon needs its bobbies full-time to tackle crime such as anti-social behaviour, which often goes unreported."
