Local Lib Dem candidates are fighting for sensible and environmentally-friendly public transport.
Lib Dem council candidate for Croham John Jefkins is campaigning for tram extensions and better parking controls.
John has had previous success campaigning for public transport improvements when he organised a 1500 name petition that gained better bus provision for bus routes 64 and T33.
John is also demanding that empty Eurostar platforms at Waterloo are reused for services that would enable us in South London to reach Heathrow and Bristol, and proposed new lines north to Manchester and Scotland, all without needing to drag bags across the underground or use short haul flights.
Lib Dems are against airport expansion and are in favour of improved public transport.
