Simon Hughes says 'Save Our Post Offices'
Simon Hughes, Liberal Democrat Candidate for London Mayor, is backing the campaign by local residents to save 14 Post Offices from closure.
Simon Hughes visited Lacey Green Post Office in Old Coulsdon during a visit to Croydon on Monday 31st May.
During his visit, Simon also met residents on the Tollers Lane Estate and heard their concerns about the closure of Lacey Green Post Office.
"The Post Office is a key service for local residents. Closures like at Lacey Green have a damaging effect on the community," said Simon Hughes.
Simon Hughes was joined by Coulsdon East Councillor Ian Atkins and Steven Gauge, Liberal Democrat London Assembly Spokesman for Croydon & Sutton.
