Local Liberal Democrat campaigner Steven Gauge has condemned the proposed closure of 14 Post Office branches across Croydon Borough.
Every part of the borough is affected from Old Coulsdon and Kenley in the south to Thornton Heath in the north (see below for a full list).
Liberal Democrat London Assembly Spokesman for Croydon & Sutton Steven Gauge said -
"The Post Office is a cornerstone of these communities. These closures will hit local people hard, particular those who are unable to travel outside of their local areas."
"The Liberal Democrats, locally and nationally, have been campaigning about the planned closure of a third of the post office network since 2002. Sadly our predictions are now coming true in Croydon."
Steven Gauge urged all those who were concerned about the closures to sign the petition to save them at www.croydonlibdems.org.uk

"The closure of Lacey Green Post Office is a massive to the residents of Old Coulsdon and the Tollers Estate in particular."
