Coulsdon resident Steven Gauge is launching his bid for a seat in the London Assembly with a walk around London.
Steven Gauge, of Station Approach in Coulsdon, is a Liberal Democrat list candidate for the London Assembly as well as being the Liberal Democrat candidate for the Croydon & Sutton seat.
Steven Gauge will start his 'London Loop' walk from Coulsdon in Croydon on Saturday 24th April and will finish back in Coulsdon on Sunday 2nd May. During the 9 days of the round London walk, Steven will cover 140 miles and will pass through many of the London boroughs meeting up with Lib Dem activists along the way (See Editor's Note for more details).
"I think it is important that London Assembly members are as aware of the issues in Coulsdon as they are of the issues in Chigwell or Cockfosters," said Steven Gauge.
Detailed Itinerary:
Saturday 24th April - Leave Coulsdon, Croydon and finish in Kingston.
Sunday 25th April - Pass through Feltham and finish in West Drayton.
Monday 26th April - Pass through Harefield and finish in Hatch End.
Tuesday 27th April - Pass through Scratchwood and finish in Cockfosters.
Wednesday 28th April - Pass through Enfield and finish in Chigwell.
Thursday 29th April - Pass through Romford and finish in Upminister.
Friday 30th April - Cross the Thames and finish in Bexley.
Saturday 1st May - Pass through Petts Wood finish and Bromley.
Sunday 2nd May - Finish back in Coulsdon, Croydon.
